We are a Pilates and Heath studio offering in-person and online Pilates classes.

Regular Pilates practice builds muscle strength, flexibility and body control. Pilates improves posture and increases length capacity. The method requires concentration, time and effort, but the rewards are sure! Once you’ve mastered the basics of Pilates, you won’t lose it anytime soon.
The goal of Pilates is to create a balanced, strong muscle system and a supple body. In doing so, overworked muscles are relieved and neglected muscles are reactivated and strengthened.
Pilates gives you the power to keep challenging yourself, every lesson again. It is a constant learning process, which keeps the method fun and varied and the possible results lasting.

Most frequently asked QUESTIONS when you practice Pilates
Wat is Pilates? Pilates gaat niet alleen over een goede houding en een sterke buikspieren. Het is meer dan alleen lichaamsbeweging en kan het mentale en emotionele welzijn radicaal verbeteren. Pilates gaat in wezen over het heropvoeden van je lichaam en het ongedaan maken van eventuele schade of compenserende bewegingen die je lichaam heeft geleerd door jarenlang misbruik of gebrek aan goede lichaamsbeweging! Door herhaaldelijk in bepaalde corrigerende posities te bewegen, beginnen onze spieren een herinnering vast te houden van hoe ze voelen, en na verloop van tijd zullen ze zich automatisch aanpassen aan dat betere patroon – zonder dat we erover hoeven na te denken. Dit brengt meer balans in je lichaam en voorkomt overbelasting van spieren en gewrichten – dit geeft minder pijn en geeft je het gevoel dat je sterker en flexibeler bent.
Do I need to be fit or have some sports experience? No! There are no restrictions to start with Pilates. You can start at any age, any fitness level, any shape and size!! You are more than welcome in our lessons. Our Abs & Posture Pilates class is perfect for anyone who wants to work at a nice pace and get moving while reaping the benefits!! “A man is as young as his spine. How can Pilates help me? PiIates is great for the whole body: physically and mentally! Strength and conditioning, toning and posture correction, maintenance of healthy joints, mobility and stress relief. Pilates gives you an energetic feeling in body and mind.
What should I wear to a lesson? Just wear something you can move comfortably in. You can also wear Pilates socks, but with socks or bare feet it is also perfect!
What should I bring to class? We have mats here, but if you want you can bring your own. Also bring a towel to place on the mat (if you use our mat) and a water bottle to moisturize.
Will I notice changes immediately? Most people find that even a handful of sessions is enough to feel fitter and stronger. Our regulars will definitely say they notice the difference when they come back after missing a week or two of classes. As with any sport, you don't become a pro after 1 session, Pilates takes some practice to learn and as our understanding develops; we continue to improve and benefit. It's really worth persevering!
